Nathan Jean-Pierre, Haiti

Today I would like to pay tribute to an exceptional man. I hear and I read a lot of news concerning him directly and indirectly and I would just like to express an opinion seen from the inside.

This exceptional man is my spiritual father, Apostle John M. Boney. Yes, the one of the Gospel of the Kingdom! As far back as my memory can go, I remember the first time I listened to his preaching and this vibrant message is still present as if it were yesterday, talking about the difference between living forever and Eternal Life.

I have heard of him, that he has devoted his whole life, his health, his sweat, but above all, during the few years that I have known him I have seen him put his whole heart into an unequaled passion so that the Gospel of Kingdom be preached and known throughout the world. An example of wisdom, dedication, humility, faith, conviction, and love for his blood and spiritual family, he did everything to maintain this heritage. I saw him organize multiple events where he made sure to be there at all times so that everything went well and to support all his work teams so that everything was a success.

He was the patriarch of our EMI family, he ensured at the same time listened to all those who looked for him, his father’s heart marked me a lot, even if he was not of the same opinion as you, he used to reply in a  particular way with wisdom.

My father is the hand that fed the hungry. He is the one who gave work to those whose families needed it. He was the one who was always present, regardless of his concerns or constraints, he always found a fair solution for everyone. He is not perfect, he will tell you that himself, but he has always prioritized people above all else.

My father was able to turn the page because he had never done what he did to receive honors. He did all this for one good reason, he had and still has the Gospel of the kingdom tattooed on his heart.

I always wondered how the servants of the Old and New Testament could dedicate all their lives to the service of God. But when I knew Apostle John, I realized that it was possible in spite of us.

Everyone who knew him was always proud to be by his side. Dad, we are all proud of you and all that you have accomplished. You can say, mission accomplished more than honorably!

You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day—and not only to you, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

The mandate continues!!!

Your son Nathan Jean-Pierre
