It’s with deep sadness and sincere condolences to the Boney family that the board of trustees and the extended members of Emmanuel Ministries International, also known as EMI, announce the departure of our beloved father in the Lord, Apostle John Magnus Boney.
Apostle Boney was raised by the Lord Jesus Christ as a voice on the earth to declare his kingdom and the restoration of the ecclesia. He served the Lord faithfully in his calling until the end of his days. His service to Christ spanned more than five decades.
God, in his great grace, has given him a quiver full of sons that spans across the nations of the earth, from North America to Mexico, South America to Australia, and Europe and Africa.
We, your sons, guided by your successor, Apostle David Clemetson, and by the board of trustees, devote our lives to carefully and meticulously steward the vision God has given us through you for the glory of Christ Jesus the Lord. We will faithfully proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of God to the cosmos, the earth, and all of its inhabitants. We know the mandate. We understand it with clarity, and we possess it with grace received from Christ through your ministry. We declare to principalities and powers that the kingdom of God is here. It is now, it is full of grace, power, and glory.
We shall live the remainder of our days stewarding the legacy of your ministry, bringing many sons into the kingdom, and leading them into maturity for the Glory of Christ.
Go well, our father, go well.
We are sad, distraught and grieving, but not as those without hope. We will meet again on that glorious day. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now there is in store for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award you on that day. Not only to you, but also to all who have longed for his appearance.
Kingdom of God come, will of God be done on earth as it is in heaven.
God bless you and may he extend to you grace as you receive from Him the ability to grieve and to receive hope in the Lord Jesus Christ as you outwork his purposes on earth.

It is with great sadness and profound grief that I pay tribute Apostle Boney, a true father of the end time church in the earth. While I might not have known him personally, I seem to know him by the spirit through the work he has done in Kingdom building throughout the world. Sincere condolences to his berieved widow and children and i pray that they’ll find strength and comfort in the fact that Apostle Boney did the will of God in his generation and they were intricately involved in his achieving his purpose.

I only found out about this today. I am in shock even though its been several months. Bro & Sis Boney helped my wife and I when we emigrated to Canada and esp helped us with our children who were very young at the time. Bro Boney did what God told him to do and is gone to receive his reward. Our sincere condolences to Sis Carmen Boney and family, and the rest of the ministry staff.

It was by Apostle Boney’s encouragement that I determined to return to higher education in my late 60s to obtain my Master’s degree. He had the discernment to see one’s gift and the fathering spirit to challenge and nurture you to accomplish your best. Although I was older than he was, I saw him as a father indeed. All those who were touched by his ministry will keenly feel his loss. My sincere condolences are extended to the family and loved ones of Apostle Boney.
He was a man of vision, with a powerful anointing. He walked with God.
