Finding the Heart of God in becoming a Joyful House of Prayer for all nations: The Local Prayer Room: A vital key for the transformation of a community: Some basics to its Establishment.
“I will bring them to My holy mountain and let them rejoice in My House of Prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My Altar for My House will be called a House of Prayer for all nations”
An Apostolic Center will not be truly complete without a Prayer Room. While the Apostolic Center works to disciple a community, through the execution of God-given strategies and plans, the Prayer Room works hand in hand with the Apostolic Center, like a veritable nerve center communicating prayer needs to Heaven and receiving answers and strategies for effective execution of the mandate.
The Apostolic Center with its Prayer Room, takes ownership of the community and becomes responsible before God for it. The Prayer Room will assist the Apostolic Center in determining firstly, the community’s spiritual needs and hindrances to the spreading of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Some real needs of a community may not be immediately obvious and may need to be, through prayer, spiritually discerned.
The Prayer Room realizes knows the Heart of the Lord, that He desires a home in the hearts of men, and since He does not dwell in man-made temples (Acts 17:24-25), has given the Church the Mandate and Commission to disciple nations of peoples, tribes, tongues, cultures and ethnicities, thereby making the earth a hospitable abode for the Creator. The Prayer Room realizes and accepts joyfully this obligation.
A Prayer Room, although not mandatory, ideally operates on a 24×7 basis. Will have leader with an anointing and calling for prayer; a room dedicated exclusively to prayer; a phone and dedicated e-mail; internet access.
A Prayer Room becomes a watchtower and an armory of spiritual weapons, pulling out and activating a weapon or weapons as the need arises (Jeremiah 50:25). Prays in the harvest and realizes that unified prayer brings down barriers to the advancement of the Gospel
Operates from the Forum of the word of the Lord of Hosts put in the mouth of the intercessor and the overshadowing of the Lord’s Hand to create new heavens and earth (Isaiah 51:16)
The intercessor loves the Presence of the Lord and seeks to maintain an intimacy-based prayer life, living in ongoing consecration and holiness unto the Lord.
The intercessor is schooled in the Word. Knows that because righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s Throne (see Psalm 97:2b), is always sensitive to injustice, unrighteousness and lawlessness and other behavior and actions contrary to Kingdom rule, and in the capacity of judge, brings down the gavel against such.
The Intercessor knows and operates in the king or governmental/priestly anointing, operating like judges, making pronouncements, legislating like a congress, decreeing, enacting and repealing laws and legislature contrary to the King and His Kingdom.
A Prayer Room through its intercessory prayer and worship operations opens the door and prepares the ground and hearts of people for receiving the Word in power (1 Thess. 1:5. Matt. 13).
A Prayer Room releases through worship and prayer, the intervention and assistance of the Lord of Angels’ Armies and His angelic hosts to punish, bind and push back rebel spirit forces of darkness that blinds the minds of people (2 Cor. 4:4)
The intercessor knows the Heart of the Lord for mercy and is not quick to release judgement. Is confident of access to the Courts of Heaven and out of relationship has influence with the Supreme Judge.
The intercessor links with other networks and prayer initiatives that will assist with key research.
The intercessor in the Prayer Room operates in confidentiality and trust, and treats classified information with sensitivity and discretion.
