Praying for the Nations

Every nation has something specific, which God deposited in you. That is why when you say you are an Egyptian, there is something about you. When you say you are a Kenyan there is something about us. When you say you are a Ugandan there is something about you, because God is after nations.

Prayer is the power source of the Apostolic Ministry, and we are in the season of the Apostolic time; and that is why we have to use this weapon very strategically if we want to see nations being delivered

Prayer is the key to breakthroughs, Prayer is another key to establish the truth of the Kingdom of God.

The Bible tells me the book of Luke chapter 3, that a new word came to who, to the prophet John the Baptist when he was in the wilderness; it was the year, it was the 15th year; there’s something about understanding the year and the season of God; whenever you understand the year and the season of God, and what God want to establish in that time-make us know how to tap to the grace of that season, and make us to know what to establish at that time.

And that is why whenever we talk about prayer; when we talk about intercession, we have to know what God wants to establish at that time. That is why He says that He has ordained time and season so that they can represent a sign;

What is alignment? It is to arrange things. Are you hearing me?

if we are desiring to pray for nations, we have to be organized-I say we have to be organized. And you are the people God wants to use in this generation to bring that organization

that is why the revelation God has been giving to us, we have to start using it to become personal in our lives. If that revelation is being released and you don’t personalize it, it doesn’t work.

And the ministry of intercession, is the ministry of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. That means we are called into the place of sonship, if we have to pray effectively.

When the disciples asked the Lord Jesus Christ, say that teach us how to pray just like the way John the Baptist taught his disciples; that is why I believe prayer must be taught; the disciples must be taught.

You don’t just decree anything which God has not spoken. The book of Lamentations 3 says: who can decree a word and make it happen if He has not spoken. Nowadays we are making empty declarations, because we are not understanding what God is saying; but God is God of government.

The ministry of intercession, remember it starts from the heart of the father, then to the son, then the Holy Spirit-when you allow yourself and open yourself to the Holy Spirit as a believer, the Lord start now giving you specific revelation of burdens, and those are the triggers which makes you start feeling you are praying for something. But those burdens whenever God gives to you, is expecting you to start expounding them, and that is when the spirit of the gift of revelation God start giving you. That is why you find that in the gift of intercession which is part of the gift of the prophetic, many intercessors receive revelation-but that revelation does not define them that they’re operating in the office of the prophet…but is a gift to give them an open understanding of the mind of God.

As you remember when I said that when the disciples asked the Lord Jesus teach us how to pray, the first thing he told them when you pray ask the Father. Anything to do with the father is a relationship; you cannot run to the Father in heaven when you don’t have relationship.

And this is what the Lord was trying to give to the disciples; the earth God has given unto you, but the heavens belong to Him; so whatever you want in heaven you have to ask the Father first, and that is why every-time we want to ask of nations, the book of Psalms chapter 2 talks about, you know first I mean it talks about ask me of nations, and I will give you, Since I’ve become your Father and you are a son now you can ask; I have people all the time when they meet me, Apostle Rachel, I want to go to the nations; the first thing I say are you a son.

Nations are not given to children, its given to sons

God wants to give us nations, Why does He want to give sons nations? That His kingdom and the will and the purposes of God concerning the nations will be fulfilled.

Every nation has a prophetic destiny, every nation has a gift, every city has a prophetic destiny, every town has a prophetic destiny that is why we have to understand those things – what are you proclaiming over those nations determines where that nation is going.

Every time you understand the prophetic destiny of a nation clarity of that nation is released.

God is looking for nation to dwell in those nations. That is why God is asking us ask of nations, nations can be a people group, so when you talk of a nation, let your mind not look only on one thing.

I’ve been training prayer leaders, I’m coming to realize that we need to release intercessors who have been trained to understand the people group and the assignment they have in that people group, because we cannot take the kingdom of God when we cannot equip people and take people and release them to that people group.

When you want to pray for a people group a nation, a Tribe, a clan you have to love them first, you have to love them – if you don’t love them you’ll not pray for them. Many intercessors pray with hate and with wrong information…what we call media information.

Whenever you want to take a territory understand that place. That is why you have to work with the people in that place

When you want to pray for nations Hear the voice of God and hear what the Spirit is saying. Go back to the word of God, go back to the promise of God, go back to the word of God-what is God saying over what is happening? That is how you affect nations.

We are in the season for us to understand every nation has a promise. When we want to pray for nations, understand the promise of that nation.

This is something I challenge my fellow ministers, just because God sends you to a nation, and things changes in a nation-it didn’t take you only, there were remnants, there were few who prayed. Remember there were seven thousand…it was the prayer of those people which God used to commission him to go deal with that thing,
(Referring to Elijah)

Apostolic intercession we have to pray for the sons and children God has given us. Galatians 4:19 My dear children for who I am again in pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you. We want to be a people to pray for things we birth and things we nurture…and that is why I’m trusting God for effective network from today that when a mission is done and one person get connected with us we pray that person through. So that what we have birthed is formed.

He (Paul) prayed for the unreached…today as we raise this altar-those are the four dimension we want to tap into:
Pray for the churches we are connected with
Pray for the children and the sons
For all believers
Pray to reach to the unreached
