A New Season in God for Women

God is gathering together His women because He has deposited His seed in them for them to give birth to His purposes and establish His Kingdom here on the earth. Women are special in the kingdom of God and must be recognized and treated as such. This was reinforced at the annual International Association of Women Minister’s (IAWM) Conference which was held in Nairobi, Kenya from September 24-28, 2019. It was an awesome time of praise and worship, fellowship, the teaching of the Word of God, ministry, prayer, prophetic declarations and impartations and tours. Over one hundred women ministers of various ages and a few men from eight different countries came together to hear what the Lord was saying to them as part of the Church. The countries represented were: Kenya, Jamaica, South Africa, Rwanda, UK, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The women present have different grace and calling upon their lives and minister in various capacities in their churches, as well as occupy different roles in their marketplaces. Some are: Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Pastors, Evangelists, Pastors wives, praise and worship leaders and Intercessors. Some occupy private, public and political offices. It was a joy to see the women as they came together to fellowship with the Lord and with each other.

Several persons ministered over the period and Apostle John Boney and Apostle David Clemetson from Emmanuel Ministries International (EMI) were part of the ministry team. It was the first time Apostle Boney was ministering to this group of women. A portion of the revelatory word of the Lord to the gathering came through Apostle Boney who shared on different occasions over the five days. He brought an Apostolic Fathering perspective as he ministered on the New Season in the Kingdom of God. Apostle Boney said that the season has changed and we are in a new season and it is God who determines this new season and not the calender. Every season is determined by a fresh word from the Lord. The new season comes when the fresh word of the Lord is accepted and applied to one’s life. He urge the gathering to get into the new season of God.

Transitioning into the new Season

In exhorting the gathering of women and the few men, Apostle Boney said that the Lord is doing a transitioning and likened this unto the transition between Elijah and Elisha which was a type and shadow of Apostolic Fathering. Elijah the prophet was in transition at the point when he was being taken up to heaven and Elisha had asked for a double portion of his spirit (2 Kings13). Apostle Boney said that the primary way through which God does transitioning is through Apostolic Fathering. This he said is also the means God uses to establish His Kingdom here on earth. He said that Jesus was about His Father’s business, so should we. He declared that Kenya is a part of this transition, it is at a crossroads at this point. He also noted that the IAWM is also at a crossroads where decisions have to be made and new direction determined.

Apostle Boney said that we are now in a season between the Charismatic and and the Glory of God. When seasons are changing it is not as popular as it used to be. God never takes the old and dress it up with the new because the old will reject the new. We cannot revive something which God has changed so we are to live by the proceeding word of the Lord, in other words, in the current season of God. Transition to the new season demands that we hear what the Lord is saying now, so we should not consider the former things (Isa 43:18-19). Apostle Boney said that the old order has passed, behold the Lord will make all things new (Rev 21:4). Things have already changed in the realm of the Spirit he said and we must embrace that change.

Be Clothe in the Glory of God

Apostle Boney said that our primary assignment in the earth is to change it for the glory of God. We must know that everything that God is in heaven, He has made us to be in the earth in order to reflect His glory. We must bring heaven to earth which is our domain. We must be clothed upon with he glory of God. He said that manifesting the glory of God is very important, noting that the first miracle Jesus did was to manifest the Glory of God. Apostle Boney further declared that the Lord is demanding a change in our ministry and that a change is taking place in the meeting. He cautioned the gathering that as ministers we should not allow people to make us idols. If this happens we are in danger because we are robbing God of His glory. Men (mankind) are servants of the Lord and should not be worshiped. He noted that we need to get David’s anointing in order to worship the Lord in a more excellent way.

Gods Choosing

It is God who chooses us, 1Pet 2:9 says that “we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.” Jesus chose twelve men to transform the history of the church. Likewise, the Lord has chosen this gathering to make a shift in the spiritual realm. Apostle Boney said that because of the shift in the spiritual realm, after the series of meetings some things will change and become illegal within the Kingdom of this world. Our authority is both in the kingdom/world and in the earth/nations. The engine of change begins in meetings such as these he said. He further noted that the Lord chooses to keep us in secret and hides us so that we are more effective. We are gathered to make a shift in the spiritual realm because the meeting is not about us but about the Kingdom of God. It is about what God has chosen before the foundations of this world. Since the Sovereign Lord has chosen us, He has the authority to violate our personal lives.

God’s Dwelling Place

The Lord has chosen us in a similar manner that he chose Moses who had a unique relationship with Him and called him His friend. Like Moses, the Lord is seeking for us to be His friend and for us to have a unique relationship with Him. The Lord is looking for a dwelling place in the earth, that is us. We are called to be the dwelling place of the Lord. Apostle Boney said that the Ark was a symbol of the presence of the Lord but the Lord has done away with rituals, he is seeking to dwell in a people.

The Kingdom Season

Apostle Boney said that this meeting is not about us or our kingdom, but about the Kingdom of God and His purposes. The Kingdom of God is here he said. Matt 11:11-15 states that -”Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it”. He said that all affairs in the earth is for the Kingdom which is to take priority in our lives. He said that the most important verse in the Bible is Matt 6:10 which said- “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The ultimate purpose of God is about His kingdom. The critical thing right now is not preparing a people for heaven but to prepare earth for heaven. Ps 115:16 sums it up by saying that the highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind/sons of men.

Our function and assignment on the earth is for us to rule and reign and change earth. In the kingdom season the Lord is laying the foundation by restoring the order of the Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and Evangelist.The word Apostle is a military term, the job of this person is to invade new territories and place the flag of the country that sent them, that is the flag of Heaven. The job of the Church is to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth. Apostle Boney cautioned the gathering not to worship man but to focus on the Lord Jesus.

Ministry to the Women

Apostle Boney said that the Lord has designed this ministry to women and a lot of what will happen will depend on what happens in the spiritual realm. He said that when they minister, they have to minister under a father’s anointing. They will get the impartation of the life of God through the person to whom God has connected them with. He urged them to get connected and stay connected. Fathering he said, connects one to the purposes of God.

Apostle Boney and Apostle Clemetson ministered to several of the women. They prayed for them and brought prophetic declarations over their lives and their countries in instances. The President of IAWM Dr Grace Manjau otherwise called Mama Mwai received special ministry. She received several prayers and prophetic words. There was a fresh anointing or download for her in the realm of the Spirit. The ministry of the EMI Apostolic team was well received by the women and men. To God be the Glory!
