In an era in which so many men and women adorn themselves with titles of which they are undeserving, Brother John M. Boney was richly deserving of the title Apostle. Over his decades of dedicated work for the Lord, he was instrumental in establishing numerous local fellowships regionally and internationally, out of which several spiritual leaders have emerged.

We shall always fondly remember, inter alia, his booming stentorian voice and his wonderful sense of humour, only two of the many positive attributes that he used unswervingly and unflaggingly in the service of the Lord.

He was beyond doubt, a committed man of God in furthering the spread of the Gospel and establishing the Kingdom of God. He gave his whole life for this, the greatest of causes. Truly there is laid up for him a crown of righteousness, an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for him. (1 Peter 1:4).
