It is a precious and unique privilege to be a company of people who have put ourselves in the hands of the Lord to become “first fruits in the earth” The new season is growing old with very little real change in the church realm. Practitioners of popular religion are aghast at our declaration that “we are the beginning of something new in the earth”, yet we believe it with all of our hearts. In the midst of the maelstrom in the earth and the church we dare to become the “voice of one” crying in the wilderness (Jn.3:3), echoing the voice of the one speaking from between the mercy seat (Num. 7:89). We are not afraid to be unique.
We have been called of God for this season to speak to those who have ears to hear. We are called to be trumpeters who give a clear message to the people of God and the world concerning this present season and what heaven is speaking.
The transition has already taken place in the spiritual realm and the popular charismatic church season is long gone and we are well into the APOSTOLIC, KINGDOM, FATHERING season. No longer can we invest ourselves primarily in preparing people to die and to go to heaven, but rather we must invest ourselves in preparing the people who will be the instruments of God for invading the kingdoms of the earth and establishing his purposes now. Focusing on our needs, of whatever nature they might be, continues to be contrary to the heart of God. The kingdom of God and the righteousness connected to it must be priority, a righteousness that exceeds that of the popular religious system (Matt.5:20). We must pay the price, a very high price indeed, offering to the Lord our precious alabaster box and its contents, rather than that which cost us little or nothing.
2010 began with an earthquake in Haiti, the poorest country in the West, and the shaking, has expanded politically, economically, spiritually and otherwise. The prophets of old, including Haggai and Zechariah indicate to us that these shakings are related to the state of the building and establishing of the house of the Lord. We, the people of the Most High God must become those with the answers to these world and church situations. We must be prophetic, becoming the voice of the voice of the Lord in the church and the nations.
Independence is a dead end street and only keeps us outside the flow of the spirit of God. We must be united with brethren, especially those of the family with whom the Lord has placed us. We must come together to hear what direction or redirection the Lord is giving to us as a family.
It is time to invade the nations, to disciple the nations. It is time for disciplined, strategic, united responses to the increasing mandate. We must know what the Lord would have us do in this season to fulfill our mandate. Discipling the nations is not an option, it is the heart of the Lord. We have taken the gospel of the kingdom and have continued to speak to the nations, but that is not enough. It requires something more to disciple a nation than just preaching a word to them. It is this that we must focus upon so the Lord could teach us how to fulfill this mandate in this season of God. We look to the Lord to grant us knowledge, revelation and especially the wisdom to know how to respond.
We will gather together in Bendigo Australia, September 28-October 4, to hear from the Lord. I invite you to pray and intercede with us so that the Lord might be made unto us wisdom and knowledge. Pray that the Lord would give words of direction to those who would speak to the FAMILY GATHERING. Pray that they all would minister under a directive prophetic anointing and that the Lord would give us the ears to hear and the heart to do whatever he would command us to do.
I invite you as a leader to make it a priority to be there. It is important for you and for our united progress that you come. Your presence will add something significant to the gathering. But I invite you also to bring some of your people. This is a family gathering, not just a leaders gathering, and all in the family are welcome to come and fellowship with us.
