From: Marshal Apostle Angella Comrie

There are special people in our lives who never leave us, even after they are gone, for it’s not about the day we have had with them but it’s about those precious moments that we shared. Apostle John M. Boney was one of those special people in my life. He was my daddy Boney.
I have met him over 47 years ago when I was around 16 years old. All that time I did not have a father figure to look up to for my biological father was absent from my life…Instantly, I gravitated to the Boneys and was known as one of their daughters. The family even wanted to adopt me and I was even offered a place at Mckinley College in Florida and was looking forward to being with my new family but circumstances beyond our control prevented that transition. I remember getting my special gift packages every time they would return to Jamaica 😀
The Boney’s mission to Jamaica and the mandate given to daddy Boney by God, gave them the opportunity to start a fellowship at the YMCA building…prior to my knowledge, he was holding church services at the home he and his family were residing here in Jamaica. God had a plan and a man called to execute that plan and so the birth of Jamaica Fellowship of Believers (JFB) or the “Y” as we were sometimes affectionately called came to fruition. Thus, the prophetic word came that Jamaica is the “Seedbed” of the Caribbean nations.
As a teenager, I watched with admiration at the ease and simplicity with which daddy Boney would deliver his sermons/messages to us. I admire his love for those he came in contact with. He was real and very transparent, never hiding his true self in his hearty laughter and his broad tender smiles.
He was a man of passion for prayer and the WORD. His many revelatory teachings that came out of his studies have transformed many lives (including mine) and given way to multiple Ministries all over the world.
Daddy Boney‘s legacy has encompassed many nations and people that he was privileged to come in contact with. Because of this legacy, I can give God praise that I’m now able to fulfill my God-given destiny and walk into my purpose.
None of us will ever forget your broad smile and hearty laugh or when your eyes danced with delight and excitement when you are interacting with us your children (biological and spiritual), we will never forget your jovial and loving presence that pulls us to you. What a giant of a man you were, an avid reader and a commanding teacher. Yes! You disciplined us in love unto maturity and now we are forever grateful for your impartation unto us.
Apostle John M. Boney you are gone from my eyes, but you will forever remain in my heart ♥️. MY daddy Boney, a man of the end time WORD…MARANATHA!!!!!

I proclaim strength to his immediate family and the family of Emmanuel Ministries International.
