It was quite a celebration, filled with the presence of God, the EMI Ministry Family Meeting IV just held from 23 to 28 July. A spiritual appointment in which the Holy Spirit brought words of affirmation on the foundations where the family of the kingdom, natural and spiritual must be built. Every meeting focused on the urgency in the house of the Lord to build priestly families, built as the perfect environment and protective wall to raise the generation of sons who will bring redemption to the present society. Surely we can say that now is the time for the fulfillment of the prophetic word because the Lord Himself will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. (Malachi 4:6)
Appropriate were the words of the apostle John M. Boney, at the opening of the Family Reunion, because he said: “The main focus of God on earth, beginning with Abraham, is to raise a family and through the family affect all nations of the earth. We are talking about the natural and the spiritual, that’s why the promise was: In thee shall be blessed all families of the earth. Part of our task on earth is to positively affect the families because all of God’s provision is for families and that is corroborated when we see Israel coming out of Egypt, because he provided a lamb for each family because he wanted to demonstrate that its provision was for the family… The prophet Malachi speaks of a curse on the families of the earth and the church is set to bring solution to the curse. We are the solution to the curse that has spread over all the earth! The governments of the world do not make any effort to preserve families, indeed, they are passing laws that impair and damage to families. No matter what is going on where you live, we have the authority and responsibility to destroy the works of evil. The earth is sick and what will cure the disease are the children of God ..! Therefore it says, “… if my people will humble themselves and seek my face … I will heal the land” the way we respond to God will determine our position on the solution of the problem.
Many people heeded the call they were asked to participate in this family reunion. Each day, about 600 people attended to the meetings but in the closing activity on Sunday 28, the place was flooded because that day was attended by over 800 people in a joyous celebration, praise and a strong presence of the Holy Spirit. Once again, the International Christian Center Ciudad de Las Aguilas “City of Eagles” in the city of Coro, Venezuela, were the stage for the realization of this event. Among the participants are counted in the congregation of Guacara, Punto Fijo and El Tigre and, of those who came from other nations, we should mention the U.S. brothers Mark and his wife Cathy Mallaber, David Cooper and his wife Laura; Faithlyn Stewart sisters, Donna and Annette Straker Mendes. Also present were James and Elnora Warner pastors of the Caribbean island of Antigua. From Mexico, Alicia Gillespie. From Jamaica, Gladstone Williams, Dr. David Clemetson and Nova Gordon-Bell. Carolyn and William Farag from Egypt. And of course, the parents of the house, the apostles John Boney and Carmen Boney and their children Jay Michael and Johanna.
Initially, on Tuesday, 23, a welcome dinner opened the meeting to all delegations and that moment marked the path of the entire meeting. Sharing and building bridges of harmonious relationship in the family of the kingdom of God and a strong spirit of unity in which all the people present shared. In Venezuela, used the time to present the delegations, both from abroad and from other cities.
The ministers in charge of preaching and teaching at this meeting were the Apostle John Boney,William and Carolyn Farag, Mark and Cathy Mallaber. On Thursday night the Apostle Carlos De León, along with his family, shared a focus on the building of a priestly family, a time very uplifting and motivating. The prophet David Clemetson ministered four times and among the many things said he mentioned: “As a family we have learned and are well acquainted with the five aspects of the purposes of God. 1) God’s purposes have not changed. 2) God wants heaven to come to earth. 3) God wants to have a dwelling place on earth and that abode is the church. 4) God wants to use the church as an instrument to establish his kingdom on earth. 5) God’s intention is that there is a generation in which all of God’s purposes are fulfilled. The question is how will that generation in which God’s purposes are fully met be manifested? Many people have learned all the “information” that speaks of the kingdom, but more than information we need a transformation. In many places the only thing that changed was the way to talk, but we are doing things in the same way we’ve always done. We need to make real changes in the other areas.
In Psalm 22:30-31 the bible says “Our children will also serve him; future generations will hear of the wonders of the Lord. To those who are not yet born will tell of your righteous acts, they will hear of everything that he has done” … When Jesus told Peter that he would build his church on the rock and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, also added that he gave the keys to the kingdom. First, Jesus says that the church is His church and the rock speaks of revelation. In other words Jesus said: My church has a revelation of my goals because only a church that has revelation is able to face the darkness, only a church that is founded on the revelation of God’s purposes will receive the keys of heaven. God is not looking for your ability to manage … The revelation that builds the church has to come across men that God has set for that purpose. ONLY the apostles and prophets can lay the foundations for the church of Jesus Christ and for too long we have been fearfully apologizing and talking about this in a way not to offend people. Pastors can NOT lay the foundation and that is a violation of the guidelines established by the Father.
Special mention needs the panel, dedicated to parents with teenagers or young age children, which was conducted by Victoria De Leon, Johanna Boney and Alicia Gillespie emphasizing how important it is to deal properly with family members in this age group. It is important to identify the needs of teenagers in each area of development because the answers we give to these needs and the way we cover the gaps that appear in those ages will determine not only the strength and maturity of the youth but will make them sons in the house of God, mature and able to commit for the coming time. Victoria De Leon made a comparison between the natural family and the spiritual family, as there is a shortage of parenting in the families of the Earth as there is in the church. A phenomenon that has been seen in recent years is the high percentage of young people and teenagers who are coming to church without their parents, either due to death, divorce, abandonment or simply because the father does not share the beliefs of the children . This means that the church must assume with responsibility, the role of fatherhood for those people and address the lack parenting because paternity is essential to the formation of a healthy individual.
Finally, she stated the demand that is upon church to put the look on the young and the orphans, as they have long been ignored, set aside, and they themselves have come to believe that the church is for adults only. We need to begin to look at them and listen to them, because these young people are the Elisha of the church that needs to be prepared to take over the tasks that God is demanding, they are the next generation to carry the Glory of God on their shoulders. With these words she gave opportunity for participants from the audience to ask questions related to the topic … that were answered …
