Gladstone and Jennifer Williams use this medium to pay tribute to Bro John Boney.
We were associated with Bro John as we affectionately called him since about 1980 when we were introduced to the Gospel of the Kingdom by him in Jamaica. We have listened to and read several of his teachings that changed our lives and moved us to a higher place in the Lord.
Over the years, not only did we have the privilege of hosting him in our home in Jamaica, but Gladstone also traveled with him to several countries as part of his ministry team. Jennifer did so to a lesser extent. We have also participated in several EMI Family Gatherings that he hosted in different countries over the years.
We know that Bro John loved the Lord and had a passion to see the kingdom of God established wherever he went. He was consumed by the mission that he believed the Lord gave him and he pursued it to the very end making many sacrifices of himself and his family.
Like the Apostle Paul said, he had fought the good fight, he had finished the race, and kept the faith, and there is laid up in store for him a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to him on that day since he is one of those who longed for the appearing of Jesus Christ.
Bro John is now resting in Jesus. We miss him but release him to the Lord as we bid him farewell. Shalom to his family. It is well.
